About Jessica

Hello!

I'm a Student Therapist and I bring a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults with exceptionalities, including six years specializing in Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA). As a parent raising my own child with Down syndrome and Autism, I bring both professional expertise and personal insight to my practice.

I am deeply passionate about providing support to individuals, couples, and families during life transitions, particularly those navigating the emotional and relational impacts of receiving a new diagnosis, such as life changing illness/news, Down syndrome, Autism, ADHD, or ODD. Additionally, I provide support for individuals facing perinatal mental health challenges.

Together, we will explore your challenges, build meaningful skills and coping strategies, and work to stay grounded through times of change.

Other Areas I Can Support

Anxiety, depression, parental challenges, self-esteem, stress management, family conflict management, and emotion regulation.

Approaches to Therapy

Client-Centered Approach, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Narrative Therapy, Somatic-Based Approaches, Emotion-Focused Therapy,  Solution-Focused Therapy.

Little About Me

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children and capturing memories through photography, crafting with my friends, exploring the outdoors, binge-watching true crime and reality TV shows, and reading FanFiction books with my book club girlies!
